Please do hold the Castle Gruen Norton for I would say 4 to 6 years. I just this past week opened one from my 2001 vintage and it was killer. I wish I could have come with you!
ENJOY and WINE ON!
Dean www.castlegruenwinery.comDean Gruenburghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12292263923202152283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7792443280300042372.post-69016634765464445052010-06-21T10:01:35.542-04:002010-06-21T10:01:35.542-04:00This is Brian from Barrel Oak Winery. Hope you will come try us out, Not sure when your kids were here, but we typically do not have such lines as they experienced and we have greatly expanded our check out capabilities. We are a loud and fun place as they said, but please do not hold that against us.

We have now release the 09 Norton. Also young, but very drinkable. We find that by treating the grape largely as a white wine, we narrow the extremes of the grape and focus upon its center characteristics. That is our style and people seem to really like it. Feel free to contact me at brianatbarreloakdotcom if you'd like to visit and get a tour!

Regards-

Brian Roeder, BOW, http://www.barreloak.combrian roederhttp://www.barreloak.comnoreply@blogger.com
