Last night we opened a bottle of Chris Pearmund's Winery at La Grange Viognier 2005. What a wine. It has a citrus flavor with a refreshing acidic finish, with a perfect balance betwen dryness and sweetness. I know that sounds a bit silly, but its true. No wonder this wine won a Silver Medal at 2006 2nd Annual Atlantic Seaboard Competition. Actually I'm surprised it didn't win Gold.
